PlainSight licenses stand-up material from the comedians who wrote it. Sixty percent of net on every sale, and shared is the default: a bit sells to a fixed number of buyers, the run closes, and you keep performing it — forever, anywhere, including the rooms you sold it out of.

Speech and toast material runs to 25 buyers at $49, about $700 to the writer across a full run. Stage material runs to 5, from $89, about $258. Exclusive starts at $199 and clears about $115 the day it sells, once, retiring the bit — and only ever happens if you elect it, on that bit, one bit at a time. You suggest what a bit should cost; the desk confirms it.

Your name goes on the shelf unless you'd rather it didn't, you can ask for any bit back at any time, and what you're owed shows on your own line at the Circuit's Business Desk — sale by sale, with the card fees and your share on the same page. Money moves when a sale happens rather than at month end; balances under $25 roll into the next month.

A credited bit on the shelf also gets you a page of your own — your name, your bits, the licences left on each — and Open Calls is the same desk facing the other way: studios, agencies and rooms post what they need from the board itself, the desk approves it, and you answer with a link to your clip.
