Is my data private?

Yes. Your files, pasted data, and spreadsheets are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to or stored on a server. Optional AI features send only anonymized summary totals — never your raw rows or names.

What files can I analyze?

CSV, TSV, Excel (.xlsx/.xls) and Parquet files, pasted tables, or a photo of a ledger. PlainSight also works with POS exports and broker trade logs.

Can PlainSight connect to Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift?

Yes — via an export, not a live login. You export your query to storage you already control (S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob, Cloudflare R2 or Supabase), presign the object, and paste that link into PlainSight. The file is then read inside your own browser tab, so your warehouse credentials are never involved and no row reaches our servers. Copy-paste export SQL for Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Postgres and Databricks is built into the app. It works this way on purpose: a live connection would mean a relay server holding your credentials and streaming your data through it — and browsers can't open the raw TCP sockets Postgres and Redshift use in the first place.

Do I need to be good with spreadsheets?

No. That's the point — PlainSight reads the numbers for you and explains them in plain language, with clear next steps.

Can I use it for my industry?
